Transport
The need for safe commutation of each child to school and back home is of paramount importance to us. To ensure safe travel the school has its own fleet of school buses designed as per standards and manned by trained drivers. For supervision and monitoring, a transport attendant is on board throughout the journey. Availing of the transport facility is optional. There are 4 buses in the school transport system.
Auditorium
The Auditorium is a massive Hall which can accommodate the entire school during special programmes and celebrations. The auditorium is fully equipped with speakers, focus lights, other lighting arrangements, audio system, and all the other modern equipments.
XII and X standard students of our school and from the neighbouring schools write their Board Examinations in the Auditorium.
Quiz competitions, Children’s Day Celebration, Teacher’s Day Celebration, AGM of CAPT, Cluny Past Students Meet and many other important programmes are held here.
Library
The Library occupies a place of pride in the list of our infrastructure and stands as an asset to both the teachers and pupils. It can accommodate approximately 60 students at a time. There is a regular library class conducted once a week for the students of class V to XII. Students of all classes are encouraged to read a book a week to enhance reading habits in our children at an early age, cultivate an interest in various fields and speed up the learning process.
There are more than 9379 books without including journals, magazines, periodicals, fiction, mathematics, arts, science, computer, history, English, value education, language, books for reference, etc. cater to their psychological, intellectual and aesthetic needs and provide information on current events. We subscribe to magazines like Infinite Thoughts, Frontline, Indian Currents, The Week, Wisdom, Health Action, Inspirational Quotes, Gokulum, Teenager, Reader’s Digest and Chandamama.
Physics Lab
The school has a well-equipped and spacious Physics Lab which can accommodate about 30 students at a time. It is well stocked with models, charts and other high quality instruments to inculcate practical knowledge among the students. All the equipments necessary to conduct the required experiments, which form the part of the curriculum are found in the Laboratory. Skilled teachers explain the procedure to students and students conduct the experiments. This ‘learning by doing’ aids in long-term retention of scientific facts.
Chemistry Lab
The Chemistry Laboratory of the school houses cutting-edge laboratory facilities including Physical, Organic and Inorganic Chemistry.
It accommodates 30 students at a time and is sophisticated with well-equipped apparatus and sufficient chemicals which enables each student to get individual experience. Proper safety manual and instructions are given while experimenting with hazardous chemicals, solvents and solutions.
Biology Lab
The biology laboratory consists of a spacious room with individual work space and apparatus provided to each student. Ample specimens, microscopes, slides, models, charts, human skeleton and much more enable students to grasp the theoretical concepts better. Students have all the necessary equipments to understand and work on the entire biology practical course. All kinds of biology project work can be undertaken in the laboratory.
Computer Lab
The Computer Lab is fully equipped with 30 Multimedia Systems. It is also supported by uninterrupted power supply. Every student gets an opportunity to work with the computer, once a week.
Infotainment Lab
The Infotainment Lab is equipped with an Overhead Projector and a multimedia system. It is utilized for computer aided teaching of different subjects, conducting retreats and special programmes on guidance and counseling, etc.
Play ground
Nothing is more exciting to a kid than a big playground. Play areas are properly designed, maintained and supervised to be as safe as possible for the students. Galleries surround the ground. These galleries enable the spectators to sit comfortably and view events and drills during our Sports Day, Annual Day and other Functions.
Safety Features
The aim of the safety measures is to ensure that the safety of the students and the staff is maintained during an emergency. To ensure this Fire Extinguishers are provided on each floor and laboratories are well maintained and safety norms are followed.
Sports Block
The Sports Block at the Entrance near the Grotto, houses a gym where all the modern equipments used for exercising are fitted. A special room in this block is allotted for Band Practice and all the band instruments are kept here. Another room in this block is allotted for Table Tennis practice.
Chapel
The Chapel in our school is the place, everyone steps into, in the morning to spend a few minutes in prayer at the feet of the Lord. This is indeed a good beginning for it fills one with inner peace and helps the students and staff tide over many difficulties they encounter as they go about their work. It is a beautiful place situated amidst a quiet and serene atmosphere.
Prayer Hall
Prayer Hall is a place for prayer and meditation. Every week prayer is conducted by the teachers for the teachers. Catechism students have praise and worship sessions here.
Stationery
The stationery stall in our school has all the necessary stationery items our students need right from an eraser, sharpner, pencil, scale, note books, maps, pouches. Students are able to buy things they urgently need, within the school campus.
Canteen
The canteen is a culinary treat to our students. Healthy food and drinks are available here. Students enjoy their walks to the canteen and are often found relaxing and enjoying a snack or a chilled drink.
