Our Vision

Education consists in showing persons how “to be more’ and not only to ‘have more’. They should become better not only for themselves, but also with and for others”.

Our Vision is the same as the Vision of Jesus Christ, the Teacher of LIFE, who came, that all may have life and have it in abundance.

The mission of Jesus Christ is to restore the integrity of God’s original creation, both human and material and thus to build the kingdom of God on earth.

Our Mission

Our mission in Education is therefore to provide

An Education of quality and relevance to all and in particular to the marginalized sections of society.

An Education that frees persons from  social conditioning and which instead enables them to see life as a vocation and as a gift and helps them to make free and right choices in life.

An Education that leads the young into the sacred space of the human person and of every person, making them aware of the inalienable human rights of every individual. This enables them to foster unity in diversity, to live in a pluralistic country, respecting and appreciating the cultural and religious differences of this rich nation.

An Education that humanizes and conscientises by enabling the students to raise essential questions concerning the meaning of life and of their role in society making them conscious of their responsibility in promoting the common good.

An Education that instills in them the values of transparency and accountability.

An Education which gives priority to witnessing and developing Gospel values – Love, Faith, Hope, Truth, Joy, Prayer, Mission, Justice, Peace, Mercy, Community, stressing the sacredness of life, respecting the dignity of every human being, the values of justice, peace and freedom, leading them towards a “civilization of love”.

An Education which encourages leadership and spirit of service and hard work, which provides career guidance, implications of media, education for life, inspiring them to contribute their might for nation building.

An Education which forms the young to become men and women of character, competence, conscience, compassion and commitment, promoting gender equality, collaboration and partnership rather than competition, fostering uprightness in public life, in a shockingly corrupt society.

An Education which nurtures encounter with God as a mandatory personal event and a free response to the call to faith and which nurtures a life of meaning, purpose and personalized values, including appreciation of other faiths.

An Education which develops a scientific temper, humanness and the spirit of enquiry.
