The spirit of ‘Legion of Mary’ is that of Mary herself. The very object of it is the sanctification of its members. The Legion aspires after her profound humility, her perfect obedience, her angelical sweetness, her continual prayer, her universal mortification, her altogether spotless purity, her heroic patience, her heavenly wisdom, her self-sacrificing courageous love of God, and above all her faith, that virtue which has been found in her alone in its utmost extent. The devotional outlook of it is reflected in its prayers, invitation of her virtues and in the spread of devotion to Mary. The Legion aims not at the doing of any particular work, but its primary object is making its members holy.
Eco club of Cluny encourages the students to explore the world of science and to make them think beyond what is included in the text.
The thrust is on interactive approach so that the child can understand nature in all its glory and diversity. Students are made to understand and use biological information rather than commit it all to memory. Awareness, interest and inquisitiveness towards the subject is created in young minds by stressing on health and personal hygiene. Students are taught to understand and appreciate the unity of organs and organ systems and outdoor activities, tours and exhibitions are emphasized upon. The club also aims at the healthy sustenance of environment without allowing the shadow of degradation to fall on it. Their slogan is “Strive towards a clean and green environment”.
The Joyful Vanguard club believes that love, affection and care have no diminishing value and aims to enable the students to reach out to the poor, downtrodden and the under – privileged in society, to keep the environment clean, to become aware of social evils and to serve the society joyfully. The students are taught and trained in these values.
Being conscious of the need for leaders to transform society, Cluny School promotes leadership through various youth movements and
co-curricular activities. One such movement is the Y.S.M. For its smooth running and to have more access into the group, the club is divided into small groups which are named after the seven colors of the rainbow – “VIBGYOR”. This reminds them of the beautiful rainbow which is unique and rare but appealing to all. So, its members are expected to become a ray of virtues which in turn attracts others to goodness and happiness. The various ‘get – together’ help the students to check their uniqueness, find their abilities and accept their limitations. They learn to be frank, free and smart in their expressions and activities. To cultivate these attitudes, various activities like self-introduction, group introduction, group activities like discussion, debate and games are conducted.
Through these meetings the students are reminded that self-discipline and modesty are the ornaments of young girls and that they should not sacrifice their future at the foolish altar of modernism, instead they should be rays of light to those who slumber at the entrance of youthfulness and lead them to their goal.

In simple words, Math Club aims at proving “MATHEMATICS TO BE THE QUEEN OF ALL SUBJECTS” and literally proves that Mathematics and its concepts are as important as Oxygen to human life. Math Club indicates the versatility and effectiveness of visual aids, relating the concepts which makes the subject very interactive, where at times, the teachers become passive and the students become active participants. To lure the students to subjects like History and Geography and thus enable them to appreciate our country’s glorious past and instill in them a sense of pride of being called Indians, we have the Cultural Heritage Club. Through the activities of this club the students are made to understand that the past is no less important than the present. They are reassured that History deals not with the dead past but with the living present. Vivid discussions are encouraged among members with regard to the importance of art and architecture in general and with that of India in particular. Albums of various types of art and architecture of different periods are prepared. The students are asked to narrate their personal experiences at the various historical places that they happened to visit. Speeches are delivered on a number of topics of historical importance. A comparative study is made of the Eastern and Western culture.
The power of one to do something, anything – that’s creativity. To delve deep into oneself and discover their precious talents and capabilities is what the creativity club aspires to achieve. Students are motivated to bring out their hidden talents. They are trained to build, stitch, carve, shape, paint, etc. on their own. Different kinds of handicrafts are taught and all this helps them not only to deck their homes but also awaken their latent artistic potential.
