COCONUT CAKE

Ingredients:

Flour – 1 ½ cups

Sugar – 200 gms

Method:

Butter – 200 g

Coconut powder – 100 g

 

Baking power – 2 teaspoon

Eggs – 4           Milk – ¼ cup

Sift flour and baking powder together. Mix the butter and sugar well and add the beaten eggs.

To the sieved ingredients, add desiccated coconut and fold in till it reaches a creamy consistency. Use a little milk if necessary. In a buttered tin add the mixture and bake at 200°C for 20 minutes.
